The Gates of Aurelia

In the occupied Aurelian colony of Lepans, Philip Creda has managed to escape his village after the murder of his father and mother and capture of his two sisters and finds himself up against an invading empire called Rana, an army that plans to  to destroy all Aurelian life in whatever form it takes.

In the occupied Aurelian colony of Lepans, Philip Creda has managed to escape his village after the murder of his father and mother and capture of his two sisters, and is now in hiding with a small band of allies. It is a time of persecution. The conquering forces of Rana want nothing more than to destroy all Aurelian life in whatever form it takes. Hope appears to be as far away as the distant space stations – the gates of Aurelia – that shine like beacons above the planet. And then, after finding out where his sisters are, Philip, with the help of two missionaries, embarks on a  rescue mission; a song in the night of a long lost language guiding them to others seeking to take flight. So begins a race against time to the port where a transport ship posing as a trading ship awaits to take them back to the home world Aurelia.  But the rescuers cannot wait for long, and not all will be able to escape.
