The morning after Ko Pha‑Ngan’s legendary Full Moon Party, a woman’s death on Haad Rin Beach looks like another overdose — until the post‑mortem reveals something far darker.

Lieutenant Chai Son Sinuan, a principled investigator in a force shadowed by corruption, is assigned the case. When the victim’s brother, a British police officer, arrives convinced the local authorities won’t act, the two men form an uneasy alliance.

What begins as a local inquiry soon exposes a chilling pattern: bodies, unanswered questions and the same disturbing signature at music festivals in England, the United States and Australia. Racing from tropical beaches to the rain of global festival grounds, Chai and the brother must outthink a killer who thrives in chaos and disappears into the crowd.

Taut, atmospheric and fast‑moving, Bad Moon Rising is an international thriller about obsession, justice and the cost of following the truth across borders.

Perfect for fans of procedural thrillers and globe‑spanning crime, this is a hunt that won’t stop until someone pays.
