ASTRID KENT was born and raised in Cambridge, UK and the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, in precisely the kind of small-town environment which would play host to so many of the stories that would whet her appetite for horror. After graduating in London with a degree in filmmaking, she moved to China to teach before returning to England, where she rediscovered her childhood passion for writing. Combining a love for bloody horror movies, gothic romance and her experiences growing up queer, Astrid soon found her voice as a writer. She currently resides in Leeds, UK.
